Andrew Bertram Cvercko (born November 6, 1937 in Campbell, Ohio; died December 3, 2010 in Rolling Meadows, Illinois) was an American football guard in the National Football League who played for the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins. He played college football at Northwestern University. ==Early years== Cvercko attended Campbell Memorial High School before moving on to Northwestern University, where he was coached by Ara Parseghian. He became a two-way left tackle and a three-year starter. As a senior he was awarded the Big Ten Conference Medal of Honor, which is given annually to a male and female athlete at each of the Big Ten institutions, who demonstrates the greatest proficiency in scholarship and athletics.〔http://www.nusports.com/sports/2015/3/18/GEN_2014010125.aspx〕 In 2000, he was inducted into the Northwestern Athletic Hall of Fame.
